He was editor-in-chief of WEINWISSER for over nine years with a clear focus on international fine wines. Prior to this, Giuseppe Lauria was responsible for the prestigious Rheingau region for almost a decade as chief taster and author of the well-known Gault Millau Wine Guide. He has also been publishing as a connoisseur and experienced expert on the German and international wine scene in several leading international wine magazines for around 20 years, focussing on the top wines from Germany, Italy, Bordeaux, Austria, Switzerland and South Africa as well as international icon wines. Lauria will continue to rate wines using the 100-point system as he did in his time at Gault Millau WeinGuide.
